4-days trekking tour In Imlil & Toubkal from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Oukaïmeden (2260m) – Tacheddirt

We’ll begin from Marrakesh pass through the high Atlas Mountains and take short stops for photos, then continue to Oukaïmeden (2260m). We’ll have lunch as we stop for a visit of the prehistoric rock carvings on the Mountain walls.

In the late afternoon, we’ll trek towards Tacheddirt, passing by TiziNadi (2920m) to arrive at the valley. After a 5-hour walk we’ll be treated to a traditional dinner and spend the night in the home of one of the nomads of Tacheddirt, or camp in a bivouac.

Day 2: Tacheddirt – Tizin’Tamatert (2279m) – Valley of Imlil

We’ll depart from Tacheddirt for a 3-hour hike passing through Tizin’Tamatert (2279m).

After lunch we’ll continue to the Valley of Imlil (5 hour walk) then spend the night with a Berber family in the village of Imlil.

Day 3: Trek in Imlil valley (via Sidi Chamarouch)

We’ll kick-off with a 5-hour trek around the Imlil valley (via Sidi Chamarouch), stopping for a picnic by the river in our way.

We’ll then travel to your camp in Imlil valley, where you’ll spend the night and enjoy a meal.

Day 4: Valley of Imlil – Toubkal summit (4167m) – Imlil – Marrakech

Following a hearty breakfast we’ll begin the ascent of the Toubkal summit (4167m).

Then, we’ll head back down to the base for lunch, before setting back to Imlil before our service ends, driving you back to Marrakesh.
